KPV
A closer look at gut and skin comfort.
Preclinical research focus
- Reduced gut inflammation
- Less skin-cell damage
- Reduced oxidative stress
KPV is a peptide derived from alpha-MSH, a hormone involved in regulating inflammation. In cell and animal studies, it dampens overactive inflammatory responses, explaining the interest in tissues that meet the outside world, especially the lining of the gut and the skin.
Real stories. Shared experiences.
A closer look
A small peptide with a clear direction.
Explore the connection between KPV, inflammation signals and two everyday areas of wellbeing.
Inside the early science
Cell studies examine signals that tell cells to mount an inflammatory response.
Animal and cell experiments explore KPV in intestinal inflammation.
Laboratory work examines how skin cells respond to environmental stress in the presence of KPV.

About KPV
Feeling comfortable in your body matters, from your gut to your skin. KPV connects these two everyday priorities through early studies of inflammatory signalling. This small, three-amino-acid peptide offers a focused introduction to the biology behind gut and skin responses, with a choice of Bloom formats to explore.
One compact peptide at the intersection of gut and skin science.
Why gut and skin connect
Gut and skin are different parts of the body, but both interact with the outside world and respond to inflammatory signals. KPV’s scientific appeal lies in that shared biology, bringing two familiar areas of wellbeing into a focused conversation.
Small by design
KPV stands for lysine, proline and valine, the three amino acids in its structure. It comes from a short sequence within the alpha-MSH hormone. This simple molecular profile sets it apart from the longer peptides and multi-ingredient blends in the collection.
Where the interest comes from
Cell and animal experiments have examined KPV in intestinal inflammation, while skin-cell work has explored responses to environmental stress. These studies look at changes in inflammatory signals, giving KPV a specific scientific direction across gut and skin models.
A focused Bloom option
Choose KPV 5 mg as a lyophilized vial or prepared pen. Both options keep the same single-peptide identity and total strength. The Bloom Product Companion and supporting information are included, helping you keep the product details together as you compare your options.
